Something I have been working on for awhile
Can you take me away from this place?
To many memories and a fall from grace
Look in these eyes there filled with pain
With indifference and a feeling of disdain

Taken down by a fallen grace
Dead like the seed that hasn’t been laid
Fear of the place that is torn from me
Mourning the loss of my humanity

Dealt hard these cards of fate
An endless supply of disarray
Heavy are these hands that pray
No solution to the hate that stays

I’ve been grounded ripped and torn
But hell is where I’ll stay
Burn my eyes so I can see
Cut my tongue out so I can speak

Taken down by a fallen grace
Dead like a seed that hasn’t been laid
Fear of the place that is torn from me
Mourning the loss of my humanity

Laid these bricks I etch my name
Curse these hands they’re rot with shame
I want to hide away my face
All I can do is curse is this place

Nothing here left for me
Set along my path of tragedy
Feeling the reigns of treachery
Familiar expressions gone to far
