Poem about my baby girl
Everyday’s a blessing bouncing to the night
Taken to that magic place, where stars are always bright
When I am with my baby, I see a different world
Every moment’s special with daddy’s little girl

Should she feel stranded, surrounded by the dark
I will always find her, and provide her with a spark
I hope that I will never see a frown begin to curl
On the precious, glowing face of daddy’s little girl

When she comes to visit, with some handsome guy
She just has to giggle at my piercing eyes
I tell him if he hurts her, I’d have to make him hurl
My baby knows that I’ll protect daddy’s little girl

A daddy’s love, which this poem has demeaned
Transcends far beyond the little world we’ve seen
I can’t always see her through all of life’s endeavors
But I know that she will stay with me as daddy’s girl forever
