Very short story,something I wrote because it was a moment I had and needed to put down.
She leaned her head on his shoulder, her nose in the crook of his neck, breathing in the spicy smell of his skin. She closed her eyes and just listened to the music, swaying in his arms. For once, she felt whole. If she could just stay in that moment forever, slowing revolving in his arms, young and happy, (almost) carefree, she would do it in a heartbeat. Life was perfect.
