Just a poem about the strength of nature (thanks for the help)
I slip out of my sandals
Feeling the straps glide gently over my skin.
My feet feel the soft grass as it tickles my skin.
I flex my toes
Holding the grass in their grasp.
My eyes close
My head tilts back.
I can hear it.
Feel it move.
Mother earth speaking to me.
Telling me her stories and all her dreams
Her distaste for the human race
But her ever caring spirit forgiving them immediately.
She’s in pain
But still knows how to love.
A true role model for all.
