This is about a teacher.
What is the measure of a great educator. Is it how much information that someone can cram into minds of sometimes reluctant to learn students. Most of the great teachers go to the beat of their own drum. They have an angle, I've heard of some singing to their students with a guitar in hand. I've heard of teachers that use humor to capture their pupils interest. To me these are the great ones the ones that go against the grain. My daughter once had a math teacher that imitated the cookie monster and incorporated her math problems. It worked, my daughter listened and came home and told me about it. I loved hearing the teacher stories. Another teacher would use bizarre humor to capture the interest of his students, the stories that were narrated to me were hilarious and I knew that my kids were listening. My favorite teacher read stories to us from the Laura Ingles series from Little House on the Prairie and I couldn't wait to run home and eat peppermint candy as the children did in the Christmas chapter. You have to go through the teachers that aren' t gifted in what they do to understand the ones that are. They stand out, they take chances, and
