Child Molestation

I wondered why he was so boundried
His every action seemed pre-defined
He had rules for every scenario
And was quick to lash out at indiscretion
The unwitting touch of a stranger
Was apt to unsheathe the tigers claws
And the appraising glance of an admirer
Was seldom reflected in his silent screaming eyes

Close but not daring to touch
I realize his eyes are not silent
But the eyes of a boy who knows he is not seen
And in them I see truths he does not want me to see
Little does he realize his truths are screaming out to me

But the world has somewhere else to be at the mention of "abuse"
The man strolls home unnoticed, to his untouched family
He'd given the boy chocolate so that made it all right
Never giving thought to the destruction he has wrought

Whistling as he goes

Suffer the little children.
From Gods lips to man's ears
