Love is blind. You wouldn't know you are in the wrong hand until he/she is gone.
It was the night I’d always remember—

When you and I were in love with each other

Oh, the ecstasy my heart was drowning in!

And your smile brighter than the stars…

I’d never forget those breath-taking eyes,

That sweet touch of yours—

And that smile, of course!

It felt so new,

So you

So true

‘Till the storm woke me from my slumber…

We spent more days and months together,

Shared secrets through more years…

Until one day, your true colors flamed out

And I knew I was betrayed…

All along you made me believe

That you loved me so dearly,

That you needed me badly…

But how could you do that?

You broke my heart.

You pushed me to decide

That we should be apart

I thought you were an angel

To shield me from the pain

But you were just a lost soul

Who has a heart swimming in vain!

I never thought this heart of yours

Would beat to give more pain and misery

It was the night I’d always remember

When I woke up to reality—

You were never the one

And you’ll never be!
