Just a little about wasting precious time
Today was just lovely
I felt so nostalgically latent
My brilliance was like wasted breath
I know I should've gotten some air outside
But It was so comfortable in my depressive state

My dishes weren't done
My bed not made
I didn't care...
I'm not expecting the Queen til next week
Even "the cats meow" was a miserable reality

So, I'll await tomorrow certain
that even if it rains
the skies will still be that much brighter then me
I will face the day with a cynical smile
For it ironically won't be as blue as I was the day before!
