Overheard conversation on a city bus
Prompt: Write a story or poem about a conversation overheard on the bus.

When riding on a city bus
I overheard a drunk discuss
His visit to Area 51
And how he met an alien
Not from Mexico or Honduras,
But from a planet called Solaris.

He said that she was beautiful,
That she promised to fulfill
Every dream he ever had
By granting him, three wishes:
So he asked her for golden dishes,
And then he gave the other two wishes
To Santa Clause for Christmas.
