Poem about time
Jumping back and forth
between now and before,
tomorrow and today,
as tonight drifts into yesterday,
and future collides with past.

The script mistaken in the act
and the story's beginning
confused with it's ending,
creating a strange sense of surreal
beneath the veneer of the real.

Mind trying to connect the dots
to make sense out of this paradox,
as then and now fades into next
until there is nothing left, except
images dancing on a mental screen.

Confused parts, jumbled up scenes,
Out of the old cooking something new.
Inside the dream trying to pursue,
grasping at straws, inside absurdity,
trying to weave together fresh meaning.

As story turns itself into metaphor
and each picture attempts to explore
a new message with hidden themes
behind each image flowing upstream.

Dreamer jumping across time and space
Clashing with light and winning the race,
illustrating Einstein's inner truth
inside each previewing and every review
as with each passing moment
trying to make sense out of nonsense
but being carried away
by the strangeness of this play.

As before becomes then
beginning a new round again.
