A story about the banisher team's experiance in a terrifying house... The Horror House.
The Horror House Act 2

Eddie entered the illuminated room cautiously, he felt like someone were there, watching him. He looked around, the room wasn't like anything he'd seen before in his life. It was like a spiders nest, cobwebs were everywhere and bright organic bulbs of light were the only things brightening the area.

Something started to approach Eddie from the distance, it was colossal in size, at least ten times the Porsche they'd arrived here in. "Ambassador" it boomed at Eddie, who was now shivering - he'd faced ghosts, ghouls, werewolves... but a giant tarantula? It started again, "Ambassador?". Eddie thought it wise not to ignore the house-sized creature and he replied in a trembling tone "erm... yes?" he replied. "Ambassador come settle peace between bees and spider?" it thundered. Eddie froze, bees? giant bees? surely not, but he dared not refuse. "Yes... I've come to settle the erm, peace?". It started to edge towards Eddie. "You come with me, great leader am I. We settle this once and for all no?".

Eddie followed the tarantula, the sights he saw were breathtaking. A house made of honeycomb, a cottage of sticks and webs. They were all greatly crafted, but Eddie sighted the problem straight away. They were all crammed right next to each other, he doubted that any more homes could be built there.

They had arrived, the Tarantula rose the a great stone platform. Eddie stayed below it along with about five-hundred more smaller spiders, about his height. The Tarantula started to speak, "young spiders... today we settle our deal with flying no-leggers. Ambassador two-legger has come, the prophecy is true". The Tarantula's speech was cut short as Eddie heard the terrible sound of buzzing, it was like a giant speaker had been placed next to a nest of a thousand honeybees.

The buzzing got louder and louder until finally Eddie saw them... The army of Bees. "We have had enough with your pathetically built houses that clog our land! Great Tarantula, rise and fight us or die in shame!" came a sinister remark. Before Eddie could intervene, the Tarantula shot a ball of sticky web at one of the bees, it fell motionless to the floor. "Stop your foolish whining no-leggers, young Ambassador two-legger has come to settle this issue!" it boomed. Eddie began before any more violence sprang, "well... I have a suggestion" creaked Eddie. "Half the land, that way it is equal, and you can build whatever you want on your half". The bees laughed "sharing is no option, we are entirely different. It is meant to be that one race takes all". Eddie thought for a moment. "Then, have a contest to see who is the better race, the lower race must leave the land".

The Tarantula cackled "a contest it is, we shall each choose our best warrior and a fight to the death on flat lands are the terms!". Cheering came from both sides as they selected their warriors, Eddie wasn't so sure about this but he had no other ideas. He had to go through with it. A few minutes later and two figures emerged from both crowds, from the spiders came a red striped spider, obviously poisonous and deadly. From the bees side came an orange bee, it was different in colour but Eddie had never liked bees, he didn't know how this would change anything in combat.

Both sides continued towards a small arena, it was made from cobwebs and bones. "Ambassador will announce the start of great duel" came the distinct booming of the Tarantula's voice. Both warriors entered the arena and Eddie pulled out his shiny magnum, loaded and cocked it, then fired a round into the air. The battle had begun.

Eddie did not see the battle however, as something strange overcome him. The room went dark and everything faded. When light returned, it was from his flashlight as he had grabbed it from his belt and flicked it on. He were still holding his magnum. "What happened?" he panicked. He pointed his flashlight in front of him, there stood tall a door with a speaker above it, and when he swivelled his flashlight around the room, he found that it was about the size of a shower cubicle, all it held were him and the door, along with the speaker. The speaker activated. "Challenge complete" it echoed, Eddie was curious however, he spoke into it. "What happened in the fight? Who won?" he asked. "Challenge complete" it echoed again, he knew it would not reply with any other words, and that he'd completed his challenge, so he decided to enter the door anyway. He would remain curious to who had won for the rest of his life however. The door creaked open with ease and he walked into it. Everything went white.
