The ♦ Epitaph ♦ Crystal
A divine crystal which has existed beyond time itself, people have always believed that it is the source of all life and magic within the world, it was written within the Aura manuscript that a colossal battle took place before the birth of the world between the young Gods and a powerful unknown entity within the Crystal's realm.

It was said that during that chaotic skirmish, the Epitaph Crystal was fractured and a proportion of the shards separated from its surface and vanished into the unfinished chaotic world beyond them, becoming lost forever.

The battle's conclusion resulted with the entity, now referred to by the ancient scriptures as "The Destroyer" being sealed away by all of the God's remaining power to an unknown realm. Although the battle was won, the damage done however was irreparable. The Crystal now enraged by its agony, removed all of the Gods from its reality and sealed itself away, permanently in hopes of containing its pain.

A millennia soon passed, the world had flourished now and existed thanks unknowingly to the Epitaph Crystal. Only the Gods remember now, remember their ultimate failure to protect it.

And now, after a millennia are they beginning to pay the price.
