A touch from you is nothing but a glowing brand.
Kill Me Slowly

Every glance cuts me
Like a razor brought down on my heart
Every smile kills me
Slicing away at my soul with a sharpened dart
Your words don't heal me
Nor does your touch comfort
A glowing brand
Always hurting
Always burning
"Kill me slowly"
I say in confidence
For you hear me not
Yell in your ear
Still would it echo like a silent gun shot
Kill me you do
As slow as the rotating clock
Take me over, you can
You hold the key to open this rusting lock
