Fay is on the run.
Fay felt frozen, which wasn't good, because her assailant was making her walk with him towards the exit of the cafeteria. The sound of footsteps behind her, told her that her friends were not very far behind.

"What are you doing with our Fay?" Eric screamed loudly, his voice carrying high above the din of hundreds of conversations going on at once in the cafeteria. Her assailant turned himself and her around.

"Stay out of this kid!" he yelled and then turned around to keep going towards his destination. Eric, really was a kid in this environment. He was a freshman and only 16.

"Professor Reinstein!" Joe's voice was practically right behind them. "Why don't you just leave her alone?!"

"Professor Reinstein. Duh." Fay thought to herself. She knew that voice had familiarity.

Professor Reinstein had decided to ignore any more yelling from Fay's friends, he was focused on telling Fay his reasons for his assault. "You just had to try and get rid of the demons Fay. You shouldn't have told Pastor Criden about them. They're supposed to be here. We asked them to be here. They promised us everything we ever wanted. Oh, and we'll eventually get your friend who helped you tell Pastor Criden."

"Matt." Fay thought. Ever since she was a little girl, Fay had the ability to sense the presence of angels and demons. One day, she had noticed demons at school and it turned out Matt noticed the same ones, so they thought the best thing to do was to tell the campus pastor about them. They figured he would tell them to leave in Jesus' name and it would be over. Apparently, they were wrong.

All of a sudden Joe had grabbed Professor Reinstein's arm and pulled it away from Fay, Reinstein had tried to pull the trigger and ended up shooting a hole in the window. Matt who had seen Reinstein pulling Fay out of the cafeteria had caught up. He grabbed Fay by the wrist and pulled her out of the building, to his car, opened the passenger door, shoved her in, ordered her to put on her seat belt and got into driver seat. He sped at least 20 miles over the speed limit out of the school property. It's a good thing there was no cop around.

"He's after me, because of the demons." Fay told Matt, her voice trembling. "You were next." the tears fell down her face and into her mouth, to create a salty flavor.

"The moment I saw it was Professor Reinstein, I had a feeling." Matt said as he ran a red light. "I knew I had to get you out of there."

"What about Kelsey?" Fay asked hiccupping.

"We'll have to call her, tell her to grab anything she thinks is useful and start driving."

Fay nodded and made the phone call, telling Kelsey which way to go and what Matt had mentioned. She also asked for her medication.

"Matt," the tears still poured, they were actually warm on her cheeks, "I'm so tired."

"Sleep, Fay, I'm sure the emotional impact of having a gun to your head is kind of tiring. I've got enough adrenaline to go for a while." Matt said reassuringly.

"Thanks, big brother." Fay said. She finally started calming down from the tears. Fay soon fell asleep, everything going black.
