a feeling of betrayal because everyone seems to lie to some degree
I need salvation from this place; its carefully crafted walls. In the darkness, it mocks me. In light, it disregards me. Everyday I am reminded. It reels me in with its sweet approach and its opportune appeal. What If? and I open the door. How come? and I stand alone. I look blankly into the nothing as the faintest light strikes my tainted eyes. This cutting sense of confusion carefully contrives me as I slip into what I hope will guide me, but alas, I've returned, and I lie lethargically in this labyrinth of the lost.
