be mindful of the decisions you make.
As the tide grew high and the waves grew taller, danger drew closer. I stood on the highest rock with my head up and my feet grounded; the sun hovering above me as the clouds played a children's game. I raised my arms to feel a blissful breeze caress my body. My eyes shut tight, my mind nowhere to be found, my heart.. what heart? What once flowed freely with love to last longer than life is now but a memory of what once was. I stand along this edge reflecting on the reasons why. I stand alone in this desolate place with the dying desire to cry. Inch by inch I get closer to fa- .. my miscalculation of space and time has led me to slip over the edge, my only hope being that the ground falls at the same speed I do.
