Sad poem about a child who wants her parents to be apart because their marriage is dead

Tearing me into two
I can’t get through to you
One half for each of you
What’s left for me?
You make me weep
Blind with your love
That you fail to keep
You don’t see what you are doing to me
You’re wedding bands are lost
Yet you somehow find each others fingers once again
One of you will ruin it soon
I promise you
The stress makes me cry
This is a tragedy that you won’t let die

I am so tired
Of covering my ears
When your lies fall through
The crevices made from passed tears
And your screams rise up to bang shrilly at my door
Arguing loudly through the floor
For three months I was sick
For three months when I was a kid
I couldn’t handle the stress of
Being ripped into two
To be a part of both of you

Think back only 365 days ago
When I was
Forced to leave my home
The ground was thick with snow
Because you couldn’t control your differences
You don’t seem to know
That you’re marriage is over
That the race has ended a decade ago

When all that’s right is faded
You still try to maintain what’s left
But it’s only bad things to say to one another
But you can’t speak to each other
So who do you use?
I become the garbage bag to empty out your
Hate
For one another
The ground shakes beneath my feet
I thought it was over
I thought it was done
I thought your relationship was overrun
Someone will ruin it soon
I promise you

Your screams rise up to bang loudly at my door
Arguing through the floor
I can’t get through to you
Please, listen to me
I know what your fake love does to you
It makes you bitter in the end
It makes my life want to end

But I have to be here
I can’t crawl away from this stress
This horrible mess
A cycle that I can’t escape
A marriage that has been beaten out of shape
I am being torn apart
By your broken love
And your broken hearts
All I can pray for when your relationship is over again
When it’s in its millionth end:
Please, let it be finally dead
