A disgusting poem about cleaning up after others and the consequences of choosing not to
It is all over the floor
It has barricaded the door
As recyclable lore
She likes to eat it
I don’t like to see it
I yelled at her to quit it
I really mean it
She ran away
She stares at me with her
Big stupid eyes
All day
As I cleaned it
And all those times
When I thought we could share a laugh…
Too disgusted now to think about that day
I cried because she was always too afraid to play
I bought her from a local pet store
So you see, she’s probably been abused
That’s why she’s so afraid
But it doesn’t matter how the coat looks
Doesn’t matter if they’re small
Doesn’t matter if they were five hundred dollars
They will still eat a little brown ball
And attempt to clean the cat
But he runs screaming down the hall
Where has your tongue been?
It smells worse than a garbage bin
When I thought we could share a laugh
She died
Can you guess the culprit?
I should have put pepper on it
I should have taught her to go in the toilet
I should have sprayed her with water
I should not have bought her
As an inexperienced dog trainer
