This is a poem about someone who put their work above what was really important.
Sleep
And dream
Then pray that things will never be the same as they first seemed
And you watch
In fear
Of all that you once knew to be
And everything you've dreamt to be
Is now
Your' nightmare.
Your' catastrophic situations
Are baring it's impersonations of those things that meant so much to you
And now they're gone.
You've lost.
These word mean nothing to you
Nor save you from the
Cold inside you
Death inside you
Crippling
Rippling
Fear inside you
But hold your' breath and say your' prayers.
Grab the ledge. Your' greatest dare.
