Chapter 5 of That Fateful Day.
This will not make sense without the other four chapters. That is my warning. What you do with that warning is your decision.

When Fay woke up the first thing she noticed was Matt laying on the other bed reading the Gideon Bible that she assumed he had found in one of the drawers. Then she heard a knock at the door.

Apparently Matt hadn't realized that Fay had woken up, so he got up to answer it. The next thing Fay heard was the sound of Kelsey's voice.

"Hello Matt." she said with a combination of nervousness and excitement.

"Shhh." Matt said. "Fay is still sleeping. She had a rough night."

"No, I'm not." Fay responded groggily and then crawled out of bed and walked over to hug Kelsey.

"When did you wake up?" Matt asked.

"You were reading the Bible."

"Well, since we're all here and awake, I suggest we get some breakfast and keep moving. Reinstein and whoever else might be working with him are bound to eventually figure out which way we went." Fay and Kelsey nodded and then went downstairs and grabbed some bagels from the free breakfast of the motel.

"We should take my car." Kelsey said as they walked out. "Most people saw you leave, but nobody saw me leave, I left at 3 in the morning."

"Wow." Fay said. "I can't imagine being in your shoes. I'm so tired as it is."

"Well, you girls can fight over who gets the back seat so they can stretch out. I'm going to drive first, in fact Fay, I'm not sure I want you driving for a while, you look very pale and I'm worried that you might be getting sick." Matt said.

"I'll be ok." Fay protested. "Really."

They decided that Kelsey would get the back seat first. Fay fell asleep in the front seat and they both slept for several hours. At about 2 o'clock Matt woke them up.

"You girls hungry? Because I'm starving." Matt put his hand on his stomach. Fay and Kelsey both nodded. They stopped at a Subway and then were on the road again. This time Kelsey driving. Matt still didn't feel comfortable having Fay drive. She still looked kind of pale.

Fay was glad for the chance to sit in the backseat though. She found that Kelsey had grabbed her Bible so Fay took the chance to read for a while. She decided to read Psalm 121. This was always where she went when she was scared or unsure. She especially liked verse seven. "The Lord will keep you from all harm-- he will watch over your life;" (NIV)

Just as Fay was reading this she noticed something. There was a plethora of demons hanging around the car, but there was also a plethora of angels. It seemed they were fighting. All of a sudden the car swerved. Kelsey did everything she could to keep control. The car swerved again. Kelsey screamed, which made Fay scream. Matt started praying. Just as they were about to hit a sign, the car stopped as if it hit an invisible wall. Fay now noticed only angels and they were surrounding the car. "Thank you, God." Fay prayed. "For sending your angels to protect us."
