This is a thought that has grown and which has pondedred along with me for a while now
GUMNAAM...

Gumnaam hai koi…..badnam hai koi…kisko khabar koun hai who…anjaan hai koi…

All—at least most of them would have heard this famous song.

Well, I was in the midst of a traffic jam on my way to work. Kept looking at those fascinating vehicles stuck up. Without even finding an inch of space to crawl.

From nowhere this song came to my mind. I kept thinking how true this song is..

Most of us are unknown (gumnam) to each other. At times we claim that we know each other well, but do we really know each other.

There would still be a part of us which is unknown to the other person. We possess so much in our lives; we do so much to conquer fame, recognition, success and so on and so forth. After a certain period of time we hear the same tune played for us.Gumnam hai koi…

It is so true. We have witnessed so many celebrities shoot to fame. We read so many controversies surrounding them. But all that stops once they are out of business. No one knows where they are. Their existence itself becomes extinct. Finally everyone becomes extinct

Giving it a thought we are all jittery about being unknown, being thrown away from the epicenter, from being unrecognized, living a ghostly life.Untouched, unknown, and unseen. We do so many things to be in the limelight, to prove our existence. Yet, we get drawn towards the non-existence.

On second thoughts, I feel we want to be non-existance and at the same time exist and be a part of this world.

My thoughts were interrupted by the honk of the car. I was back to reality from my thoughtful world wondering am I also a part of the same crowd carrying the same thoughts or would I accept the fact being GUMNAAM…
