a rose in winter couldn't be any prettier
a rose in winter couldn't be any sweeter

  or smell so swell,

or brighten your day even with frost upon its petals,

sparkling dewdrops glittery in the sun,

as you stop to not only smell them but delight in their innocence and glory,

or you, my love, you are the miracle from up above,

That the Lord and Savior granted thus to me,

to lighten up my darkest days and glide me throughout the gloomiest of endless nights,

The rapture is always complete, because you remain so sweet and so steady is our love,

Like the Heavens above that smile down in our new-found warmth and wisdom of the ages

And the angels dance in repose in constant revolve and surround us with their guiding light and love and all the powers that may be, either good or bad, may only seem good and I am glad that I have had you and your unique gifts you brought my way, everyday,

and the roses in winter with their sparkly frost bow down before us and bless us with many more years to come and more gifts of love left to linger over the mists of time and among the midst of our lives,

Bravely the rose petals open and sigh at the glory of love and the glory of their beauty and awesome splendour.

And I always will know  that the Roses in winter could never be any prettier or smell so fragrant as you, your spiritual love.
