The Wrong Thing to Imagine, Part 2

I woke up to a blue moon. At least I think I did… I don’t remember when I woke up… or if I was ever sleep… I search my mind for answers, but it’s just as blank as I feel.

The moon’s light lazily lay on my stomach. It’s been doing this ever since my realization of waking up. Oddly, it feels as if it holds weight, but its turquoise square is too unusual for me to move, so I let it lay on my stomach some more. Slowly pushing air through my lungs, I can only get a handful, as the weight of the light allows.

I look up back at the sky, where holds a civilization of unknown wonders. The  blues moon seems to stay there forever, as does the stars around it shines brightly with brilliance. I can turn blind if I stare at the twinkling light any longer, but I have already sold my attention and the stars refuses to give it back.

A mass of boredom was collected through my mind. I sat up in my bed, abandoning my attention from the stars, just to grow anew. My eyes had  already capture the moon just to sustain enough for me to think about. Minutes went by as I began to lose the thought. Finally, catching hold of reality, I noticed the difference in the room.

It was dark and the lights were off, but that wasn’t what was bothering me. Although the moonlight’s square invaded my bed, it wasn’t enough to share light for the room. The air hung still. My heart was beating so loudly I can hear it through my ear.

Pumping. Pumping its on little life away.  Can you hear it? Hear it as much as I feel it now? I stay on my bed. Something told me to. My conscious? I didn’t know what was off right away, until I pieced the puzzle together for the feeling of someone being in my room. I wait for a shadow to give away. Nothing… Silence…..

Then I see something! It scurried across the room. Giving away strange hissing sounds. Running from furniture to furniture. Getting closer and closer to me.

CAN YOU HEAR IT!!! My heart beating. My throat closing. My last breathe running away from me.

My back hit’s the wall. What can I do but wait… Until. Thump. I realized it was on my bed. It appeared to be small. Because it was still in the shadows, it started to walk towards the center of the light.

Leave it to them, for my eyes did not miss a thing.

It stood on top of the light. All my tension swiftly escaped. It was nothing but a…. teddy bear?  And not just any teddy bear. A precious treasure that I kept for years. It was never mine in the beginning. I found it here. In my room, the first day I moved here. I remember it all….

Roaming through the rooms and inner rooms of it. I appear in front of a brownish red mahogany door. “Weird. All the other doors seem to be so plain and chipped.” I thought. My eyes hit the strange  designs that were carved into the wood. Clear as glass, angel wings are placed into the wood. At the top of the door. Keys were carved along side it. Limning the keys, they covered inches and sides of the door. Turning a golden door knob, I walk past. “This room was more special then it already appears.” I thought. There was no kitchen, leaving four open rooms. The rooms were also bigger. Too big. Having more space then any apartment room  should have. I walk into the biggest room among the four. Not as expected, it held a teddy bear near the wall of the window. I slowly walk to towards it. Picking it up, I examined it. Its ruby eyes glistened in the daylight….

I blink my eyes, as the movie of my memories were over. They shift back into a deep spot in my mind. I look back at the teddy bear. It no longer had the ruby colored eyes. Instead it was blood red. As if anything else had changed, I examine the strange bear.

For color, it was little lighter than black. Which made my availability to see him in the darkness. The large peach inner circle on his tummy. Small peach wings that straightly came out of his back, showing itself aside of him. And never to forget the peach circles on his paws and the bottom of his feet. Nothing seemed to change. But those eyes…. They indicated something…. Danger?….

I didn’t feel to at ease at the presence of this teddy bear. Waves of fear hit every inch of my body when a jolted voice cuts through the silence. “You must leave! You cannot stay here!!”

My head searches the air. But I then realized there was no reason. The voice was filled with urgency and it sounded young.  I look back at the bear.  “Leave!!” the voice repeats. My voice is found and  I utter words out of my mouth, “Leave? Why leave? This is my home, I can’t leave. What’s going on!?”  I stare at the bear for answers but it leaves me with nothing. Its blood colored eyes does nothing but stare back.
