a poem about not feeling good enough
Twists, turns and
Sideways burn
Straight into
The depths of me
My existence unfolding
Presently
anticipating life's disease
Straight into darkness,
I plunge
Fear my only company
I storm through the woods and brush
Intensified
Strong gallops thrust
Leading me toward the gates
When suddenly from above
their crept
An unexpected voice
which said
Don’t you move not one more step
Then pinned me to the ground
I wept
Beautiful and alive for why
Are you not proud
I said its my time
It just feels right
Please let me journey away tonight
Its voice grew stronger
Winds shook the trees and
Dared me to my destiny
I grasped my sword
And understood
What hopelessness had blinded me
I looked up and bowed
Then Turned around
My debt was not yet paid
I gave a shout and stormed out
awoke from where I laid
