A story of a reoccuring dream that never seems to go away.
Continuous Dream

I see you there
Smiling,
Like no time had passed at all.

The hand on the clock was ticking loudly,
But our laughter drowned it out by far.

Just you and me
Like it always used to be.

You had somewhere to go soon,
Yet you still found me here for a little while before you had to leave.

Your eyes said everything you couldn’t, and you were smiling.
You smiled because “everything was perfect.”

Well, that’s what you used to say.
