Time going by so fast, and not losing your heart or yourself in a fast paced life.
Life was in a rush,
a constant turning wheel.
Every thing was spinning out of control,
so she went to the one place where time stood still.

She watched while God painted the sky,
and as the gentle purples and pinks faded behind the trees,
so did her worries.

Time wouldn't slow down,
no matter how hard she prayed.
The clock was ticking faster
every single day.

Looking out into the glass water,
she found her heart again.
It was always right there.
Waiting.
Wanting her to come and rescue it.

Her heart was always patient,
but time was not.
Time wouldn't wait, wouldn't slow it's speed.

But she could also grab hold of it,
just like she could her heart.
In this fast paced life she lived in,
she just wanted to know her part.
