love, romance, passion, rose, realationship
I sit here by the flickering light of a single candle. Shadows and darkness surround what is not lit. I watch the candle slowly melt down, until the wax is no more. I am engulfed in a sea of night. Alone I am without my flame, lost in the darkness, and shame. Off in the distance i see a light beckoning me to come near. I go against all resistance, and walk the path that is shown before me. I find myself soon before a small room with nothing except a chair, and a rose upon the ground.
Out of the darkness a voice says to me “to find what you are searching for, you only had to open your heart." A man steps out of the darkness, he is old in years and of heart, So many lines cross across his face, his hands shake with age. He tells me to sit down and tells me something I will never forget.
From many years and generations ago I stand still here before you stricken with age, and little life left. I have waited all my life for someone to follow the light I hold in my hand. You come seeking answers, but answers I cannot give. Already answers you know, but not how to unlock and understand.
You are young and full of life, you live to love, and are searching for someone special for you to give your heart. So simple it sounds but never can one understand truly every aspect of love. Take my hand and I will show you what you seek, he tells me. I had my doubts and worries, but I took his hand.
I found myself in a dream, a dream I have so often seen but never understood. "Open your heart to what is unseen and you shall understand what it means." A love you search for all your life is right before your eyes. You can see what you want to see, but can you see what you cannot. The Answer you seek has been told. Into the night you shall be.  A sense of passion and desire swept before me, my eyes saw more than just outward appearance, but a beauty deep within, a being so ancient, so wise, that even the way I feel about her today I cannot explain.
Into the night I have been, and into the morning I have become, slowly I can see a beauty within me, and the way I see you in my dreams. Tonight I will take your hand, carry you in my arms, dance with you forevermore, and when the night has taken its toll, i will kiss you upon the lips my love.
