a sad poem
Slowly my grip seems to be loosing hold.

Your fingers begin to loosen and slide across my palm.

I see your hand start to fall away from mine of into the distance.

My heart begins to sink with the most heart rendering sorrow.

Tears flow from melancholy eyes that once saw hope.

The sadness looms over me, consuming me into darkness.

My soul now aches in lonesome solidity.

The once solid earth below my feet has now dissipated.

I fall to my knees and cry out for you only to hear silence.

I weep for what once held me up high above the darkness.

Tears fall for what seems to have been lost.

The pain and sorrow scream out ~Don't go~
