A comparison of life to a Pendulum
As the Pendulum swings, 

So does the momentum of fate.     

Inevitable

Irrevocable

It is



In the dead silence of the night

Faintly, the sound of the Pendulum

As it swings, never resting, in its cradle

Can be heard



We only live once

As your Pendulum slows

And you begin to die

Flickering out of this earthly existence

Look back

What do you see?
