Just what you want too and all that we really do- want.
Alone I stand in the thick woods,
Trying to see through the pressing darkness.
A chill is running down my spine.
Electricity coursing through my blood.
My heart wants to escape
From its cage and shout into my ears.
My breath wants to fight
The fiercest storm that ever was let loose.
I want to scream- scream at the buds;
I want them to bloom when I tell them to.
I want to catch the wind in my hands
And mould a magic wand out of it;
I want to put a spell on the stars
And put them off when I want it dark.
I want the sun to shine
Only as brightly as I want;
I want to be able to look into its eyes
And keep looking at it till I want.
For once, my fingers want to touch my heartbeat,
Clasp it tightly and let it live again.
For once I want not the breathing in
But the breathing out to rekindle me.
