The un-uniform rhyme with a twist.....
The castle was perched
atop a cliff
if you fell down
it was not a short trip
right at the bottom,
lay the Ocean,
perpetually angry,
in perpetual motion.

We flew, we fluttered
we rose and in a hover
untill we landed,
on the topmost tower

Our swords were drawn,
Our bows were strung,
Our spells were ready,
to be quickly sung

We undid the door,
Of the tallest tower:
Myself and friends four.
We sneaked down the stairs
Into the lair
To see how our fate did fare.

The Inside of the castle
was eerie and still
with many enchantments
cast to kill.
But we evaded them-
We were prepared.
As we needed to do
what none other dared.

Passage after passage
Room after room:
all were as quiet,
as an ancient tomb.

We spotted some treasure,
seated on a golden wagon,
but it was then that we saw,
our host's guardian dragon.
Towering he was,
with a snow-black hide,
his deep breathing sounding
like the ocean's tide.

The door burst open
and the soldiers came in
waving their weapons, each
with a barbaric grin.

The battle began,
we fought with gusto,
our spells killing many a man.
Our swords drenched with blood,
and the Black dragon's gut,
which we intended to fry on a pan.

Our host finally emerged,
once the room was purged,
of soldiers and dragons complete.
She was a little girl of four,
or maybe six, but no more,
her expression: tender and sweet.

"What do you want?
What do you need?"
she asked us in a sweet voice.
"You murdered my pet
and also want my treasure?
My guests, you leave me no choice."

With a childish grin,
she pulled out a book-
and mind you,
it wasn't very thin.
She read out a spell,
causing our heads to swell
and our skin to turn to tin.

And today we stand,
on the castle's sand
on the stretch near the beach.
Five human tinmen
Complete with weapons for each.

The little girl who made the switch,
turned out to be the evil witch
whom we had come seeking,
and now we stand in her home
incapable of speaking.

I now give out a plea to help,
If you manage to read this,
We await your arrival
and your help to us,
to free us from the witch!!
