Views and Visions

Visions, Points of view, and Views on the world, they all mean the same thing but are each entirely different. Kind of like how different pieces of steel are the same but can be entirely different. Going back to the first few sentences the way these are different is in the way that everybody’s views or visions of the world are entirely different. Some people see the world as a wet and cold place, others as a hot and dried up place.

Age is one matter in your views or visions. People in their sixties tend to see things different then people in their twenties. A fifteen year old would see the world as a restricting or boring place since as they don’t have driver’s licenses yet. However, a one, two, or three year old would see the world as a strange and interesting place, almost like an illusion.

Memories are another matter in your visions or views. Seeing as an average person would only be able to remember fragments of his/hers life, those fragments would be a big factor in your views or visions of the world. Happy memories mean a good view of the world. Alternatively, scary or sad memories would mean an evil or bad vision of the world.

One more factor in views or visions on the world is a somewhat strange one. It’s music. The song that you most recently listened to may or may not have a big part in deciding your current view or vision. A violent rock song you just listened to might result in your current view on the world being one of violence or torture. Alternatively, if you just listened to a lullaby your current view on the world would be one of bliss and peace. However, music in general doesn’t change your main view of the world immensely; it only changes your view of the world at that very moment.

Views can change extremely fast. You might be thinking that the world is a horrible and unfair place, but five minutes later you could think the world is an amazing and fair place.
So to wrap up this small peek into views and visions I’d like to say one more thing. First off, there are many more deciding factors in your views and visions then I listed. You could just sit down for a minute and come up with three more deciding factors. Go on, try it sometime.
