Soldiers, heros
                    Soldiers Prayer

Brothers and Sisters you are to me, not of the same womb, or kin,
but that of a Nation of pride and values and rights of freedom to win.

I stand not by your side and fight, a soldier I am not.
But I pray and think and feel and grasp the hardships of your plot.

The moments your families endure are felt in each and every home,
Our leaders are tired and worn they say, from towers of ivory and chrome.

When will you come home, oh soldier of mine,
When will you finish the fight.
Come now from far, come now from there, come see the windows light.

The candle shines for you eternal, the guide for ever more,
I lay awake and always will, till you walk through our door.

Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, you all yell battle cry,
Don’t tread on me or Nation ours, to all Sempre Fi.
