A childrens poem about early experience with baseball.
I LOVE BASEBALL

I love baseball, when I can hit
It’s even better when it goes in my mitt.

Chuckin the fast ball so batters will fan
Touching the bases running fast as I can.

Slugin the ball deep in to the air
Pop flies, ground balls nobody cares.

Just get on base, and round the horn
Head for home plate and the smell of pop corn.

Mom and Dad are sitting in the stands
Hit a homer and you’ll hear their clapping  hands.

Cheering from the dug out loud and clear
I’ll hit more homers, just wait till next year.
