yes !! This is one of the cure from depressions and i myself have tried and testes this.sometimes there are happenings which just happen as a rule of universe and these situations left us depressed and frustrated from within.So how to cheer ourselves not just by eating in a resturent, where you give an order of your favorite food .may be that can give you a relief for sometime but as soon as it is over you wil fall in that state of mind again.

So why not try a better option and that is cooking .Evey one loves eating and enjoying food .so lets try to do some activity take it as a gameto play .Play with your ingredients and that should come from inside .Everytime you will not be finding people around you to cheer you upor may be you just want to be left alone for that moment .So try this technique , iam sure you will hesitate in the begining as some people really avoid cooking but this is not for the sake of cooking something but for the sake getting involved into some interactive activity.

Its like pushing yourself out from that state of mind by your own efforts without being hard on your self .If you love cooking it will do wonders.Not only it benefit you mentally but it will give the pleasure of doing something .

So just try it out and you will surely find the difference before this exercise and feeling of accomplishment after this. This is magic of cooking....
