Watching my hometown dissolve into its prehistory
Run, seeker, run

Faster forward; forward, for more

Fast as she can, faster, and harder, speed’s best

Driving, there needs to be a quest

Suddenly, at 21:33

Feel the breeze

Clouds float and swirl

Mixing inks, vanilla to gold

Partitions fall from their devisors’ thrall

And breathe

Aching and transfiguring, the City

Lough laps harbour as the lumens pass

The fragrance on the air is to the past

Watch: Lough licks harbour into sand

Buildings disrobe to skeletons, and dissolve

Forgotten firs and pines march from the hills

All that is us is rendered into dust

Time’s unwinding, backward

One, two, three, four

Thousands and many more

Samson and Goliath return to ore

As a billion stifled blades of grass erupt

Returning to the forest, Beautiful

This place, as it was before
