A boy dreaming about a girl, written for the flying colors contest
I juggle the balls like I juggle girls
And I have a feeling one is you
Above my head the colors swirl

Red, Black, Green, and Blue

Red is for the fiery one
Who dances while she cooks
Her heart is given to someone
Far away who sends her books

Black is for the one in sorrow
She's been broken one too many times
And dreams of the sun rising tomorrow
And burning away those previous crimes

The green one is so full of life
And nothing seems to pass her gaze
She smiles in times of greatest
strife
And always points out moral grays

Blue has secrets she cannot share
Or cannot share with just any man
Her dreams would be too great to bear
Except she has a foolproof plan

Three balls fall into the sand
The one I catch is you
But which color is in my hand?

Red, Black, Green, or Blue
