All is fair in love and war....or so they say...

A war has been waged within
Fighting and tearing
Ripping away any sign of reality

No territory need be claimed
Both sides are merely out for blood
Destroying the only remaining defenses

With the sense of self long gone
Great battles erupt
Increasingly chaotic and desperate

Weapons of choice are
Fear and Obsession
Potent and Pure

Silently destructive
Secretly threatening
Surprisingly familiar
