two children watch as great warriors duel
Author's note:when reading, picture Liam Neeson's voice for the knight, and Christopher Lee as the wizard.

The young girl and her older brother fled from the dark creatures pursuing them, they had been summoned by that strange man in the white cloak. As they ran the girl stumbled and fell, the boy turned, helping her to her feet, they cowered as they saw the creatures advance on them. One leapt straight at the girl, who flinched. Suddenly there came the sound of metal slicing through a soft object and, opening her eyes slowly she saw a man in armor standing there. “Move! “He screamed pointing down the trail with one gauntleted fist. More came to join the first, beating back the monsters. When they got far enough away the boy lowered into a crouch behind a bush, when the girl protested he just shushed her. After a while of fighting the same figure from before appeared, his silver beard glinting in the moonlight. “You can’t protect them forever.” He said. “We can try, and we will.” The knight who had ordered them down the trail said. “You know what will happen to you who oppose me. I need them, and I will get them. They will be the keys in my plans to overtake the world.” The knight just leveled his blade as did the others all encircling the man. “You are confident.” He said plainly. “But you are a knight, bound to the rules of chivalry, and I challenge you to single combat.” “Fine.” The knight said, unclasping his cloak throwing it to the side and leveling his blade. The man chuckled, shrugging off his robe and removing a black sword. They began circling each other. The knight made the first move, running at the man as their swords collided blue and red sparks flying. “So you’ve got a enchanted sword as well, ha.” The man laughed. They spun away as the man took one step back with his right foot, shifting his two handed grip to his left hand as he lifted his right above his head. The knight just moved the sword in front of his face. The fight resumed as the two blades collided, with this new form the man was a much more agile, weaving his blade in and out. The knight just blocked each attempted strike. For all his magic, the old man was tiring, the knight saw and as his blade was finally knocked out of his hand he stared at the knight. “You may have won this round but I will win in the end, I yield.” He suddenly vanished, the knight’s comrades coming to join him. the knight turned and stared straight at the girl and her brother “you can come out now, it’s finished.” The boy looked surprised but rose to his feet guiltily with his sister and wondered what half of what he heard in the battle meant.
