If you've ever felt out of place and lost, this one is for you.
She was born of the warm waters of the Atlantic,
Bursting forth on the crest of the full moon's tide.

With starlight shimmering on the surface of Father Neptune's Kingdom.
The Gulf Stream breezes whisper her name in the darkness,
beckoning her soul back to the briny depths
of Mother Ocean.

The Siren's Call of The Sea beats within her chest,
much like her mortal heart.
Riding the surge of the storm-tossed waves unleashes a freedom in her spirit, unlike any known while standing safely on the shore,
where the sand meets the sea.

The bittersweet salt of her lips,
the powdery grains beneath her feet,
serve as important reminders of her heritage,
of where she truly belongs.

The Mermaid's Lament,
a haunted heart.
Forever stranded on the shores of time.
Waiting for the tide to turn,
and lead her home.
