Sad sack poetry. "A song for the deaf."
There is a crater in the shape of your fist
where drywall and drab white paint existed
yesterday.
Nobody noticed but me.
You only think about yourself.
And when someone would question me,
walk on top of things I say
instead of defending me--you look the other way?

You love me all wrong.
It's changing--
I'm changing.
You can either learn, be taught, accept it as a gift of change
or--

"YOU CAN GO YOUR OWN WAY//YOU CAN CALL IT A LOVER'S LONELY DAY"

and now I'm off to listen to Morrissey.
