Part Of The ' Voices' Series.
‘I think we need to talk’ His voice purred over the loud music, his accent was a broad English accent, He was wearing an open black shirt with an old metal tee-shirt underneath tight jeans and some converses hardly what you’d expected a killer to wear , ‘ sorry do I know you?’ I said looking him over taking in every detail.’Oh I should imagine so as you’ve been staring at me for the last half hour and you obviously have the same questions that I do’ He stated carefully pushing his hand into his pocket and seductively chewing his gum.’Oh yeah and what are they then? Seeing as you already know so much about me already.’ I said sarcastically, he wasn’t making any sense how did he know me? ‘I think we should take this conversation outside don’t you?’His voice went from calm to aggressive. ‘Yes I could argue my case in front of all these witnesses or we could do the adult thing and go.’ I mumbled to him he made me nervous to be fair but I had to be calm and relaxed.

We stepped into the cold night air my breath appeared as smoke in the wind, He lit a cigarette and took a deep intake. ‘Okay what’d you want Kid? Only I’m a busy girl and spending my event in the freezing cold with a complete stranger was not on my agenda!’ I growled wafting the smoke out of my eyes. ‘Sarcasm is hardly acceptable at the time, I want to know why the hell you find the need to intrude on my dreams and leave me thinking none stop about this girl i don’t even know , and then you have the god ridden cheek to turn up at my cousins eighteenth birthday party! Care to explain?’He aggressively said to me blowing the smoke out of his mouth and flicking the ash onto the concrete. ‘I intrude your dreams!? You cannot be serious! Two weeks I’ve been having nightmares about you and you say I’m dream stalking you? You’ve got some nerve sweetheart. ‘I cursed at him standing up and facing him ‘I never said you were dream stalking me I just said ...you know what this is irrelevant, I’m not arguing. I didn’t want to speak to your with the intension of making yet another enemy. Look let’s start again. ‘He said a little calmer than before. ‘Okay. ‘I looked at the floor again, taking my place on the wall. ‘Hi, I’m Alex. But everyone calls me Virus. ‘He said smiling as he flicked his cigarette but into the pond. ‘You know that’s hardly great for the fish!’I laughed, he laughed to looking at me. ‘I’m Amber. Everyone calls me Amber.’ I fought back the urge to giggle, Biting my lip in a vain hope. ‘Cute name. ‘Alex smirked sitting next to me. ‘You going to explain what happened in the nightmare or do i need to know more about you to understand it?’ He grinned.’Oh you’ll get it straight away I’m just not telling you. ‘I giggled. He looked me in the eyes again edging just a little bit closer pushing his way into my comfort zone, I was known to be an extremely personal person I didn’t like the idea of everyone knowing my life story and more to the point I hated my personal space being invaded.

‘Sorry am I making you uncomfortable?’Alex said shuffling back a little.’No, I mean kind of, one thing you’ll learn about me I’m one of those people who don’t like being open about things that go on in my life and I don’t like people ‘cosying’ up to me.’I explained. ‘Well i might just have to erase that little life point won’t i ? after all i have seen an awful lot of you in my dreams.. a little more than i can see now. ‘Alex winked placing his hand gracefully next to mine on the wall.’Hmm could say the same about you ,’ he laughed half heartedly as if he expected my reply, his eyes had changed from black to a dark blue which startled me , i jumped back , i decided that if i laid down and looked up at the stars i would be able to control the urge to place kisses along his plump lips, I’d known him for a few moment i couldn’t, even though the urge was just too powerful. ‘You okay down there?’He laughed lying down next to me, my heart skipped a beat, i replied some songs in my head to try to control the heart rate. ‘ YEAH I’M GOOD!’ i shouted before screwing my eyes up, that had to be the most unconvincing speech i have made in my seventeen years of living.
