Every time I listen to this one song, I always see this scene playing out in my mind.
She awakes in the middle of the night. She sits up in bed and looks down at the foot of her bed and out the huge glass double doors into the night. She gets up and opens the doors. She steps out onto the cold stone and looks up at the moon. She walks down the steps that lead to the garden. She turns around and looks back at her castle. She gets a feeling as though she may never see the castle again. She continues to the garden. She starts walking through the maze as if in a trance. She reaches the end and sits down on the stone bench. Suddenly out of the darkness looms a tall figure. He grabs her by her hair and pulls her down to the ground. He bites her neck. She feels drained. She spins around but he is gone. In the distance she sees a forest. She starts walking to it. As she enters the woods a mist seeps in all around her. As she continues to walk she hears a howl from behind her and the sound of crunching leaves and twigs. She starts to run. She is lost now and can't find her way back. She hears snarling behind her. Up ahead she sees a lake. She runs toward it. She realizes that she is running very fast. Just as she can feel the breath of the beast behind her she begins to lift off the ground. She knows now that she has transformed into a flying creature. Her wings graze the water as she lifts higher into the air. Far in the distance she sees a clearing on the other side of the lake. She sees what look like stones sticking out of the ground. She heads for the closest one. As she lands on it she realizes that it is a grave stone and that the name on it was her own...
