The lovers grieve...
When the moon touched the skies
And the mountains kissed the air
As the roses danced around
Sat a lady, soft and fair

Esoteric was the time
As she watched the river shine
Her eyes searching for a sign
For her love, her valentine

He came galloping through the trees
She let out a happy sigh
He stood handsome and white
Against the dark purple sky

She ran to him, ready for embrace
He stepped down, shook his head
And seemed troubled,so dismayed
Confused, she stopped to say

“My darling, you are late,
Why is it, you look away?
From my father you escaped,
Yet you still look so sad?”

A single word, he never said
Quietly he held out snowy hands
She gently reached up to them
But her fingers slipped away

Horror, she stared ahead,
And noticed his opaque form
Colour, from her face drained
“NO!” Her voice shakily echoed

Slowly, he turned around
She watched him glide away
In his back was the wound...
A stabbed sword that remained.
