Short, a plea for help
Silence me or I might scream
Let me cry or I might bleed
Hold me tight or I might leave
Watch me close or I might lie
Bite me hard so I will feel
Through the numbness taking over me
Don't be harsh, I might not sleep
Smile at me and make me dream
Silence me or I might scream
