A long lost friend who left you without warning or reason, through no fault of their own.
Lighten up these memories,
The ones we could never find.
Our words, we lost along the way.
Our laughter, left behind.

Along these paths we walked and walked,
For forever, and a day.
I know how much I love you still;
It's for you, each night I pray.

Our lonely walks along the sands;
When you died, we had to part.
I just wanted you to know, my friend;
Your name is etched upon my heart.
