A shy boy watches a shy girl.
I see you, through the darkened gloom
A shy girl in the corner of the room
I've seen you around even know your name
I'm too shy to ask you out, to my eternal shame.

I see you, afraid of spending your life alone
Crying into your pillow every night
I know you deserve so much happiness
I need to be brave to end your fright.

I see you, wanting to be held
Waiting to be asked to dance
How can I get you to notice me?
This could be my only chance.

I walk over and hold out my hand
I see you smile and watch your eyes shine
I hope at the end of the night
I can get you to be mine.

I see you, slide my ring on your finger
As I get down on one knee
Your words and smile says it all
You don't want anyone but me.

I see you, walking down the aisle
My sweet and shy bride
To have you with me forever
Knowing you're by my side.
