My life as a chameleon, forever changing. adapting, and at the same time, losing myself.
I hate it when things change
I hate it when things just aren’t the same
I wish I could revert
Rewind
Return to the past
Where things are the way they were
And I wouldn’t have to suffer this awkwardness
Embarrassed to admit, and face the fact that
I have changed.
I hate it when I don’t fit in,
So whenever I have to,
whenever I can,
I change.
But whenever I change,
I don’t belong to another group of people
anymore, too.
I wish things could change,
So that I didn’t have to leave,
And I didn’t have to be changed,
so now I don’t have to change,
to fit in the past that I have changed.
