Who says I can't live without you?
The smirk on your face
tells me
that I can’t stay.

I turn away
remorse,
hits me like a hurricane

Everlasting love,
conquering the world.
All those lies.

From you,
I learnt to see through watery green eyes,
veneers of flawless lies.

We live to die
you live and lie,
breaking vulnerable hearts like mine.

I will not cry,
I will not show red puffy eyes.

Because
you don’t deserve
not even a single teardrop of mine.

I will stay strong,
and soar high up in the sky.

Watch me fly.
