A poem about a butterfly
I once was a caterpillar
Fuzzy and wiggly
Full of legs and always hungry.

I ate and I ate and I ate
Until there was nothing more;
It was then that I started building,
Silvery strands of silk all around me.

It seemed the more I build,
The safe I was from the world.
I lived in that cocoon for a very, very long time.
It was dark and lonely and dusty.

But I was changing, inside and out.
Until one day, I decided to reveal mysef
To the world. I began nibbling...
And nibbling...and nibbling until I could
Finally stretch the most beautiful rainbow colored wings.

They were all colors because they'd represented my life.
Joy. Sadness. Hope. Fear. Excitement. Trepedition.

But most of all – Love and Hate.
